Provide a way to employ dedicated long-term contractors when their job is converted into an official government position

I petition the current administration to enact, change or streamline regulation in order to employ long-term contractors whom have dedicated so many years of service to a government position and where that position would be better served as an official full-time government employee or in the event that his/her job is being converted to an official government position abolishing the need for the contractor. This makes sense from a logistical standpoint as far as continuity, costs associated, professional relationships and sheer knowledge and skill invested from the years of service exist. I also petition as a contractor employed for near a decade within the government who's position is being converted. Families of contractors have come depend on the years under these jobs.
