As it stands now social networking is effecting the ability for this site to properly function. It's biased in the fact that you can create a public spam campaign to send a petition out to millions of people.
As it stands now thou there is no determination about how many of those million are against the petition. All we know is that over 100,000 people want something.
Thus, i propose that there be a way for those of us to express our opinions against a petition easily and effectively. Sure, we could create a separate petition to dispute a petition. The flaw with this is being that it's a popularity contest and some of us don't lack the spam capability to spread the opposition
So in summary, I think every petition should have an OPPOSE option that factors in on whether response is needed
