Providing funding to a get fit and active program for grade school children to curve the rate of childhood obesity

Childhood Obesity is increasing. Poverty stricken neighborhoods and low-funded schools can not adequately provide proper physical education. The goal for the get fit and active program is provide an afterschool program that first assist with homework and then engage school-age children with physical activity and education with minimal to no cost to families. Physical activities include structured and various sport games and activities. Following a healthy snack to replenish their bodies.
