PUBLIC DEBT AWARENESS

Order the Treasury Department to biannually send Public Debt Statements to all US households broken down by individual so that a family of five would receive a statement that showed that their current share of the US Public Debt would be approximately $250,000.00. The people should open these statements along with their credit card bills and mortgage statements. If US citizens were made to feel like this debt was real , there would be outrage and the citizens of this country would demand that both parties get serious about balancing the budget. THE AMERICAN PEOPLE HAVE TO HOLD OUR LAWMAKERS ACCOUNTABLE. IT IS A DISGRACE THAT THE CHILDREN OF TOMORROW WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH OUR DEBT ISSUE BECAUSE WE REFUSE TO DO IT!
