"Public-ize" colleges. Make a college degree accessible to all Americans, as with K-12 education.

Created by B.J. on November 13, 2012

We are in the middle of one of the largest job crisis we have had in decades. Yet, there is a vast amount of jobs available. Why? Business are looking for workers with a higher intelligence than what's available and more specialized training. Meanwhile, millions of Americans are unemployed or underemployed.

To solve this crisis, we should allow public college education for all. Affording a college education is a very difficult task for those even moderately "well-off". By allowing Americans a free college education (as with K-12, already) businesses will stop looking overseas for their skilled workers and Americans will stop fearing the need for food stamps.

Nevermind the student loan debacle. Students start working to have their paycheck go to Sallie Mae. Let's end this, America.
