We, the People, feel that the proper attitude of humility, honor, and dedication to the American people is in need of restoration. In order to accomplish this, help restore fiscal responsibility, and weed out career politicians, we propose the following permanent changes:
1) IMMEDIATELY make the Federal Minimum Hourly Wage the prevailing pay for ALL members of Congress for ACTUAL hours worked. Member MUST use a time clock to record hours.
2) Expenses and hours worked must be made available for public comment and in the case of expenses, approval for reimbursement.
3) Any member who does not show up or participate shall forfeit their pay for that entire week, with no cap on amount which can be lost.
4) Health insurance will be the individual responsibility of members as it is civilians.
