people think that the president has unending power and can do whatever whenever and that is simply not the case. i would like multiple statements officially addressing every issue under the sun and what the Obama administrations official stance on the subject is, as well as what others' claims are, and what the presidents powers are as far as affecting change regarding said subject. an official statement that lays bare all aspects of the issue and puts an end to baseless claims as to what Obama has or has not done, especially if the particular issue is outside of Obama's powers as president.
one example would be Guantanamo. Obama promised to close guantanamo, yet it is still open. instead of ignoring it and hoping it goes away, tell the public that obama did in fact try to close it.
