Publically acknowledge th historical genocide against American Indians, replace Columbus Day with American Indian Day.

Created by I.J. on February 05, 2014

We the indigenous people of America are respectfully requesting that the President of the United States publicly acknowledge the genocidal acts committed by the United States government against our ancestors.

We also request that acknowledgements are made in regard to the Supreme Court precedent that incorporates the Doctrine of Discovery and Manifest Destiny, which uses racist language with the intent to oppress and violate the human rights of American Indian people.

We request that an entire month be dedicated to the culture and history of American Indian people. Finally we ask that the President abolish Columbus Day and replace it with a national holiday respecting first American’s, for the reason that Columbus is a documented genocidal fanatic.
