This petition is asking the President to state his personal belief's about the Bible. Is it "the foundation of all truth" as some would claim? Is it "a good book of morals" but not quite "the foundation of truth"? Or is it "an outdated book that carries too much weight in our current world"? The goal of this petition is not to condemn the President for any personal beliefs but rather get an answer that is not vague. The creator of this petition believes the President has been too inconsistent in his responses in the past.
I believe this could spark a nationwide discussion and would benefit people of all religous backrounds.
