publicly address an Article V convention to propose amendments & endorse the amendment at wethepeoplepropose.org

Created by D.T. on February 09, 2015

The authors of the U.S. Constitution were not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but they did understand the fallacy of mankind and the uncertainty of the future. The document they produced to guide our system of government took these variables into account. Their decision to provide Congress the ability to amend the Constitution allowed for many wrongs of the founders day to eventually be righted. Furthermore, the idea of a convention to propose and ratify amendments was a proverbial “message in a bottle” released into a sea of future possibilities by the authors of the U.S.Constitution. That bottle has washed ashore in our time and as you read these words there are those who wish to hijack the process before the electorate realize their greatest constitutional right!
