All American citizens should be treated the same and afforded the same opportunities as any other citizen. Equal protection under the law used to mean something and it should apply to anyone in the pursuit of happiness. This includes all walks of life here in America. So as long as they are legal American citizens, they should be allowed the opportunity to pursue life and happiness as they see fit. I call upon President Obama to publicly address the country and declare that the Consitution and the American dream still applies to all of its citizens. Anyone should be allowed to marry whomever they please. Furthermore the President Obama should acknowledge the Christian aspect in this manner and that is that the Bible and God instructs us to love everyone, not just a select few.
