Publicly apologize to the American people for committing the "high crime" of providing material support to terrorists.

Created by R.P. on June 02, 2014

On Saturday, May 31, 2014, the Obama administration released five mid-to senior-level Taliban commanders from prison in Guantanamo Bay ostensibly in exchange for U.S. Army deserter SGT Bowe Bergdahl. These Taliban commanders, described by The Washington Post as "battle-hardened," will most certainly return to take up arms against our sons and daughters once more.

Providing material support to terrorists, to include personnel, is a violation of the USA PATRIOT Act, 18 U.S. Code § 2339, and qualifies as a "high crime" under the U.S. Constitution. Whether those behind this crime are impeached or resign their offices is a matter for the people's Congress to decide. Regardless of what actions the Congress may take, this administration owes the American people a sincere public apology.
