We the people demand a public apology from the President, for blatantly lying to the American public.
Then Senator Barack Obama. September 12th, 2008:
".. And I can make a firm pledge. Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year, will see ANY tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not ANY of your taxes"
Fast forward to now, The President, and Congress allowed the 2% Social Security Tax Cut to expire in the Fiscal Cliff negotiations. That is a tax increase. Correct me if I am mistaken.
The majority of low and middle income earners can't afford this increase at this time.
The middle-class American people are NOT your personal ATM machine. You made a pledge! Apologize publicly, and hold up to your end of the bargain
