publicly ask for the release of Dr. Shakil Afridi, a man who is imprisoned for helping find Osama Bin Laden.

Created by E.G. on December 25, 2012

More than a year ago, Americans celebrated the death of Osama Bin Laden as a step towards justice for those whose loved ones perished on 9/11. Yet, one of our most important co-operators in the search for Osama Bin Laden, Dr. Shakil Afridi, who collected DNA from the Al-Queda leader, has been convicted of treason and is now being tortured in Pakistani prisons. For him, there is no justice. I ask you to petition the Obama administration to, at a minimum, make a public statement for the release of Dr. Afridi, an American hero. This man put his life and his trust in our government, and we most certainly cannot break the promise that we made to him; that he wouldn't be punished for helping the American people. Finally, we will fulfill that promise.
