The Russian government has recently passed laws violating the free speech of the LGBT community by banning any mention of homosexuality in the country. This public display of hate has emboldened extremests in the country who are now committing acts of violence against the LGBT community. We ask the President Obama stand up for the rights of the LGBT community everywhere, and condemn the Russian government for their violation of human rights and condemn all acts of violence against the LGBT community.
