It looks like NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell stands a very good chance of keeping his $30 million a year day job, even though "domestic violence enabler" is an apt description of his tenure so far. The NFL has plenty of sponsors, and few are unwilling to move away from long-standing, lucrative deals because of the violence of a few and negligence from those above them. Accountability has to start somewhere. The President, as an Executive, has something to say about being an executive and leader generally, and it is my hope he will be forthright about the standards to which leaders and those with responsibility are held.
