Considering systemic racism in America, blacks are disproportionately disadvantaged economically, socially and otherwise. We are not asking for legislation (not likely under the current politics), but calling for reparations as a policy at least begins that conversation. We need a call for substantive action, not just a call for awareness.
We aren't talking about handouts or welfare. But good Economic stimulus to black neighbourhoods to create decent jobs (50% black youth unemployment). But whatever it is, lets get creative. Please stop tiptoeing around and demand reparations Mr. President. Please.. no political calculus on this one. We know you have it in you!!
