Legislation is overwhelmingly influenced by corporations rather that public interests. More and more lobbyists literally write the legislation and they are given this ability because of the money they contribute to campaign efforts.
Let's make governance more about representing constituent's interests and less about scrambling for campaign money.
Let corporate interest be represented at the same level as community interest and free legislators to make the best decisions possible rather than passing laws designed specifically to benefit their corporate benefactors.
