Twenty-three states have legalized medical marijuana and another twelve have passed laws allowing access to high-CBD strains to treat severe seizure disorders, but significant federal roadblocks often stand in the way of the full and effective implementation of these policies. A new bill introduced in the U.S. Senate this past Tuesday could largely fix that. The bill aims at rescheduling marijuana to a Schedule II substance, allowing banks to provide financial services to state-legal cannabis businesses, and lifting restrictions on marijuana research, among other historical changes. Please come out in support of this bipartisan bill and do all you can to help insure its passage.
