Publicly offer apologies to the families whose loved ones were killed in the US drone attack on a wedding party in Yemen

Created by K.F. on December 13, 2013

Fifteen people in Yemen, on their way to celebrate a wedding, were suddenly obliterated by a US drone strike. Human beings full of joy one minute; charred pieces of flesh the next. I can scarcely imagine the suffering of their families.

Your drone policy, which kills terrorist suspects in countries such as Pakistan and Yemen destroys the lives of noncombatants, fuels hatred against America, contravenes international law and violates the sanctity of human life. It is more than we can bear.

Unfortunately, we Americans, who paid for this deadly drone strike with our taxes, cannot bring the Yemeni villagers back to life. But I ask that this be the last time - ever - that the United States targets a wedding party, because you have ordered the pilots to take their hands off the joy sticks.
