publicly recognize that 49% of the population voted against President Obama, and that requires compromise.

Created by J.I. on January 29, 2013

This is a call for the Obama Administration to publicly recognize that his vision was not overwhelming reelected by the popular vote (51% vs 49%). It is the opinion of the undersigned petitioners that their voices are not being heard or fairly considered, and that the President of the United States of America has been unwilling to compromise on any issue. Within his public statements since reelection, he has repeatedly stated that his vision for the future of America was overwhelmingly chosen by the American people. That is far from the truth. We are a Country more divided than ever, and we demand the President recognize that the role of a leader, the role he promised in his 2008 campaign, is to work together on issues and make meaningful compromises for the good of all.
