We Petition the President to make a public policy statement that affirms that an individual's privacy is an individual's property and that all forms of data mining, collection and surveillance not issued under warrant as per the 4th amendment shall be illegal.
We further petition that the President create a publicly elected body, outside the jurisdiction of the government, to oversee the compliance of all government agencies and corporations and the FISA court. This body shall NOT be answerable to the President or Government in order to protect the body against influence by the government.
