The Seabees represent the good that is contained within an American, yet most Americans don't even know we exist. Our birth begins with the tragedy of Pearl Harbor and ordinary civilian construction workers serving our nation (under fire and not allowed to defend themselves), building runways and refueling stations throughout the Pacific Islands. Without these Patriotic Americans our ability to take the battle to the East would not have been possible. It was at this point when ADM Ben Morrell activated these men with the mission to support the Navy and Marines in remote locations and defend themselves if attacked. Since then the Seabees have used their construction abilities to provide humanitarian support to EVERY major natural disaster on Earth. Providing food, water, and shelter.
