There has been a number of news reports stating that there was a confession written in marker on the boat in which Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was found, but none of them have released any photographic evidence that any confession had been made. With a case such as this concerning national security, releasing these photos is a necessary step to make sure that the message being sent out by news media is accurate.
