Publicly share unbiased research on gun control and/or bans that show they will reduce crime instead of increase it

Gun control and banning proposals have been introduced federally and in various states. Reducing the guns to law abiding citizens has been shown to actually increase crime in cities such as Chicago and DC. We are petitioning the federal administration to disclose all research that will show how these specific controls and bans introduced will actually decrease crime, how the proposals will remove guns from criminals (who by definition break the law and will continue to own illegal guns), and how the seemingly arbitrary selection of restrictions were selected. In addition, we petition that the administration require any state considering gun control and banning (such as NY and MD) to do the same rather than use emotional tactics in attempt to gain anti-gun favoritism.
