We, the users of the Internet, petition you to issue a statement expressing your strong support for reclassifying broadband as a telecommunications service under Title II of the Communications Act, rather than the sender side proposals the FCC is considering.
The White House’s voice is a strong one. Your support for Title II reclassification of broadband service will be deeply influential.
Anything less than full Title II reclassification – combined, as it must be, with forbearance from regulation beyond specific and narrow “rules of the road” – will be confusing and risky at best. We need clear rules that will survive a legal challenge.
