I call on fellow Americans, to assist this petition through the path of WE THE PEOPLE.
If you've worked in a Tipped Labor job at some point in your life, then you might know what it's like to feel under paid and under appreciated.
Customers don't always tip like they should and we all know that Employers rarely make up for the difference like they are suppose to.
By signing this Petition, you agree to the following:
(in no particular order)
1) $2.13/hr is not a fair wage for employers to pay their employees, working in any Tipped Labor job.
2) Every working American should make a livable wage.
3) $5.00/hr, at the least, should be the new minimum wage for Tipped Labor jobs.
4) While the Federal Minimum Wage has been increased over the years, Tipped Labor has remained stagnant.
