Publicly support true and fully inclusive equal human rights legislation.

Created by E.K. on February 25, 2013

We are calling on President Obama to publicly support, and to call upon the House and Senate to draft and pass, true and fully inclusive equal human rights legislation, guaranteeing true equality to all American Citizens, regardless of race, creed, color, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, or ethnicity. It can be titled the EHRA - the Equal Human Rights Act. In his speech on June 11th, 1963, President John F. Kennedy originally asked the House and Senate to draft Civil Rights legislation. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was present in the Oval Office when President Lyndon Johnson signed the Act into law on July 2nd, 1964. Now, as we approach the 50th Anniversary of The Civil Rights Act of 1964, let's finish this important job, so that no one is left unprotected under the law.
