Publicly urge Congress to prohibit universal service support of free cell phones through the Lifeline progam.

I want President Obama to vigorously and publicly urge both houses of Congress to move bills S. 874: Ending Mobile Phone Welfare Act of 2013 & H.R. 176: Stop Taxpayer Funded Cell Phones Act of 2011 out of committee and put them up for a vote on the floor. Cell phone service is not a right or a basic need. Put the Lifeline program back to landline in-home service only and stop the skyrocketing costs, rampant abuse, and fraud associated with this welfare program.
