Due to recent disclosures of questionable loans and a general lack of transparency regarding its operations, the Federal Reserve (meaning the central bank and all banks that are members of the Federal Reserve system) should be audited for practices or transactions that are at odds with Generally Accepted Accounting Practices or the charter of the Federal Reserve.
The progress of that audit should be made available publicly in near real-time, and the results for each bank published within 2 years of the beginning of the project.
