The petition seeks to make public the full and complete text of the Trans-Pacific Partnership treaty for review by the American people. As it stands now, the treaty is being negotiated in secret and our representatives have little, if any, access to the complete treaty text.
This important document has potential long-term consequences to the US economy, trade relations, business, and ultimately the American people. Keeping the document secret goes against not only American values and principles, but also of the ideals espoused by the President to be "the most transparent administration ever".
