Publish a piece of poetry, fiction, or creative nonfiction in The Pinch, a literary magazine.

Created by C.M. on April 04, 2013

We, the staff of The Pinch, a literary journal in Memphis, would love to publish your poetry. Or a short story. Or some nonfiction. Anything goes! (But please try and keep it under 5,000 words, Mr. President.)

Remember when President Clinton played the sax for everyone and they loved it? Remember when your wife led us through The Evolution of Mom Dancing? We all loved that, and that's because creative expression humanizes us. It enables us to relate to one another in a very special way.

Perhaps you might compose a haiku while waiting for Air Force One to take off. Maybe you jot down a brief memoir based on your day's events, which are no doubt worthy of reflection. You'll feel better for having done it.
