There is a paucity of economic & security threat reports on the global implications of the U.S. continuing down its current policy path regarding climate change.
Commission a peer-reviewed study of the economic & security implications based on how we address climate change. Show the costs/benefits through the next 100 yrs. of "business as usual" as Republicans advocate, predictions based on the approach the Obama Administration advocates, or an energetic approach consistent with the threats predicted by the climate science community limited only by technology constraints.
This report should also reveal the total cost of using certain energy sources for our power, including all negative externality costs such as assurance of supply costs for oil (e.g., military costs in the Persian Gulf)
