Is important a change for Puerto Rico because since I was 10 year old and I am 42 now I been heard that Puerto Rico need a change and in several occasion the USA citizen of Puerto Rico went to referendum to proclaim a change to USA; the last referendum was in 2012 and the people reject the current political status but USA kept ignoring the US citizen of Puerto Rico. There are 4 million U.S. Citizens in Puerto Rico who are not allowed to fully participate in the democratic process of their nation; instead they are the victims of political discrimination and treated as disenfranchised and second-class U.S. citizens. Therefore, the citizen of Puerto Rico has no say in the making of the laws and statutes that affect them. Even though the U.S. Supreme Court has absolute jurisdiction over P.R.
