Currently there are customer service call centers around the world. I have first hand witness the goings on in these companies specifically the Philippine islands. I have witnessed agents for American companies providing poor service for American callers: hanging up to save average handling time, and putting callers on hold until they hang up. I have witness first hand U.S. citizens who came to work in these call centers openly harassed and threatened with violence for being American. These things would never be tolerated in the United States of America but are treated as business as usual in other countries. American companies are losing money on the practices and procedures in place in these call centers. America would be better served by putting Americans to work at home in these jobs.
