We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

Pull the nonprofit status from Commission on Presidential Debates ("CPD")

Created by C.R. on September 16, 2016

The Commission on Presidential Debates claims to have been established "to ensure that debates, as a permanent part of every general election, provide the best possible information to viewers and listeners." However, despite "other" polls showing 62% of voters wanting the third party candidate on the first debate stage, despite public calls from news organizations and prominent Governors to have the third party on the stage, despite 70% not happy about the two party choices, despite one of their own board members calling for this, the Commission is maintaining the two party system lock on information and the elections, thus voiding their very mission statement by failing to provide "the best possible information". For this reason they should have their nonprofit status rescinded.
