We as a country need to stop focusing on the problems of the rest of the world and focus on improving our own country. Billions of our tax dollars are spent on wars overseas while the rest of the world outpaces the USA in everything from education to alternative energy. We need to put our own country in order before we try to be big brother to the rest of the world.
Several key areas to improve on are as follows:
Education-particularly in science and mathematics
Alternative Energy/Infrastructure- Solar roadways, high speed mag lev passenger/cargo train systems, clean energy power plants, etc.
Employment-invest in American companies for the components needed to complete the above projects as well as hiring American workers to build them.
In short we need to invest in our future.
