Pull the tax exempt status of Goodwill and other "non profits" that are paying disabled workers less than minimum wage.

Created by E.D. on July 08, 2013

Recently it has come to light that non profits such as the Goodwill are taking advantage of disabled persons in America by exploiting a loop hole that allows them to pay disabled individuals less than minimum wage. In many cases the disabled workers are getting paid pennies per hour. These non profits need to have their tax status rescinded and be forced to pay back wages to every individual or their next of kin who ever worked at their locations that did not make minimum wage. They should be prohibited from reapplying for 10 years and can never reapply unless proof that they have paid every individual is submitted. Furthermore special minimum wage certificates from the Department of Labor should be discontinued and any granted should also be rescinded. We demand fair pay for fair work.
