This petition impacts everyone in America. For far too long we have sat idly by and let the NRA and gun manufacturers dictate gun control laws. In doing so we have let far too many Americans die. The recent mass murder in Orlando at Pulse night club is the worst in U.S. history. It is time to call on Congress to act. We need to ban assault, semi automatic, and automatic weapons. We need to expand background checks to include mental health screening. We need to restrict the sale of guns online, privately, and gun shows. We need to make America safe again. Our country is the only civilized country in the world that values corporations over that of our people.
