Punish the Criminal Act with the gun, not the rights of other gun owners.

Lets federally mandate a required federal sentence on those who commit a crime that involves a gun, no matter what kind of gun. The rest of us are law abiding citizens and we are tired of having to pay the price of those who are completely incompetent to handle a gun responsibly. If someone uses a firearm to commit a crime, then the local states should impose their penalties and sentencing on them, but at the same time, the federal government should mandate at least an additional 10 years of federal prison time to serve consecutively after they have served their time in their local jurisdiction. Lets make it a national, federal crime when a firearm is used during a crime. #PunishTheCrimeNotTheGun
