DDOS, short for Distributed Denial of Service, is a type of DOS attack where multiple compromised systems -- which are usually infected with a Trojan -- are used to target a single system causing a Denial of Service (DoS) attack.
Anyone with a computer and the knowledge can DDOS when small companies are hit with these kind of attacks they lose business. DDOSing has become a bigger and bigger issue in the USA.
What Happens now when you get DDOSed: Currently there is no law that can stop someone from DDOSing. there is nothing a person can do but wait until the attack stops.
The internet is currently being slowed way down due to the attacks taking up large amounts of bandwidth.
This legislation needs to be added to help small businesses in the online world in the US
