punish government officials that have committed acts of crime, such as Pima County's police killing of Jose Guerena

Created by S.S. on September 26, 2011

On May 5, 2011, Pima County Ariz., police raided four homes suspected of marijuana trafficking. In one of the homes was former Marine Jose Guerena. During the no-knock raid, the police fired 70 rounds in 7 seconds, and it is believed that at least 60 of the rounds hit him. When checked, the gun used by Guerena to protect himself was still on safety lock. He had no previous criminal record, and there was no illegal substances in his home. The police denied paramedical attention to him as he was bleeding out.

Laws are to be followed by every member of the country, including police officers. The police department should be tried for the murder of Jose Guerena. In addition, other government officials should be tried for their crimes if committed.
