I would like to suggest that the United States purchase "The Interview" from Sony Pictures and release it broadly.
Recently hackers attributed to North Korea have terrorized the United States and held our civil rights for ransom by demanding that the movie "The Interview" should never be released.
This blackmail is an act of war on our First Amendment rights and should not be tolerated. The companies involved are understandably concerned about the welfare of their employees, patrons, and their profit and have little room to act.
Since this is an attack on our values, the US Government should step in and protect our right to free speech. The government has the resources to purchase the film and the ability to ensure it is safely distributed.
