Salzburg is a beautiful Austrian city made famous by the greatest American musical of all time, "The Sound of Music". Through the catchy tunes in "The Sound of Music" and Julie Andrews' lively and convincing performance as a nun, America has already figuratively claimed Salzburg; it is time for the United States to take possession of the city one step further by literally purchasing Salzburg from the Austrians.
This city would be a valuable addition to the United States of America, as well as setting an important precedent for future territorial purchases in Austria and beyond.
