The DACA program was created to offer undocumented immigrants who arrived in the US as children and who were positively contributing to society a more stable future and an ability to work and pay taxes without fear of deportation. President-Elect Trump has promised to cancel the program upon taking office. The federal government has agreed to protect those who exited the shadows and willingly gave up their information protection from use of that information against them. We must protect that agreement from abuse by future administrations. Doing so requires deleting all information which could be used to locate, detain, and deport anyone who signed up for protection.
