Gun and gang violence have caused my family and other families great deal of stress and pain. The violence from guns and gangs are simply stated as "being ridiculously stupid," and America cannot and will not grow as long as we are constrained by fear and hate. With so many mentally deranged and angry people carrying deadly and lethal firearms, we will continue to live in an era of violence and disharmony. It is through us and the power of support that we will be able to overcome these terrorist threats; and it is through us and the power of care that we will be able to accept, cherish, and appreciate life.
