On March 17th Glenn Grays, a US postal worker, yelled out at a vehicle which he felt came dangerously close to him while he was executing his duties delivering mail in NYC.
The vehicle stopped and came back and 4 plainclothes officers arrested him, preventing him from delivering the package in his hands and left the US Postal truck unsecured.
The arrest was a gross abuse of the power and trust we've given to these officers. And further reveals a serious lack of integrity on their behalf. Tainting ANY further work they provide because we can't trust them to be truthful or honest in execution of their duties.
They violated Mr Grays Civil Rights which too often goes unpunished. But this time they also violated federal law in obstructing delivery of the mail and (18 U.S.C. § 111(a) .
