Pursue federal felony charges against Mr. Mitt Romney for lying on his 2007 and 2011 Public Financial Disclosure Reports

Created by J.C. on July 13, 2012

Mitt Romney lied on his 2007 and 2011 Public Financial Disclosure Report forms, thereby committing a federal felony. Mr. Romney must answer for his crimes.

Mr. Romney stated in his 2007 and 2011 Public Financial Disclosure Reports that he left Bain Capital in 1999 to lead the winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, ending his role in the company. He signed off on these statements stating that the above information was true. However, in SEC filings between 1999 and 2002, Mr. Romney received a salary from Bain Capital as CEO. He also served as Sole Stock Holder, Chairman of the Board, and President. Therefore, he lied on his Disclosure Reports.

Lying on these forms is a felony carrying up to five years in prison. Mr. Romney should immediately be prosecuted for this crime.
