Recently factions from the polar extremes of the gun control debate have proposed the typical all-or-nothing, ”nuclear” options. Gun control advocates, indifferent to law-abiding gun enthusiasts, seek to ban everyone from possessing certain types of firearms & accessories based on the actions of a few; and gun rights advocates, oblivious to the epidemic of urban violence and mass shootings, stymie all regulation and promote more firearms in public spaces.
As a concerned citizen I advocate for “precision-targeted” legislation that reduces the likelihood insane or irresponsible individuals have access to firearms, but also preserves the ability of sane and responsible citizens from possessing all types of firearms & accessories currently available in the US.
