Dr Shakil Afridi was a crucial ally in our hunt for public enemy number one- Osama Bin Laden. He is now imprisioned in Pakistan's Taliban country under a 33 year sentence for aiding the United States. We must stand behind our friends or we will never be trusted again by our covert allies around the world.
The administration should pursue Dr Afridi and family's freedom and removal from Pakistan by any means necessary.
